What is Model United Nations?
Model United Nations is an instructive, debating and developing conference that can be organized for high school, university and secondary school levels, aiming to make students experience the United Nations. Delegates represent various countries and individuals during the conference. They experience the differences and similarities of different countries, people and ideologies.
Where will be the conference held ?
Our conference will be held at Üsküdar Tenzile Erdoğan Girls Anatolian İmam Hatip High School.
What is the official procedure of TEKMUN’24 ?
The procedure for TEKMUN’24 will be accordance with Harvard Model United Nations procedure.
Will there be accomodation ?
Yes, the accomodation details will be posted.
Are individual participants allowed to apply ?
Yes, you can apply as an individual delegate or apply as a delegation with school members.
Is there a limitation for the number of delegates in a delegation ?
Yes, the minimun number for delegation applications is 5 delegates however, maximum number is 25.
What is the dress code of the TEKMUN’24 ?
The dress code of the TEKMUN’24 is western business attire.
Is it mandatory to participate in all the sessions ?
No, it is not mandatory. However, you will not be receiving any rewards and if you miss more than 2 sessions you will no longer be eligible to get the certificate of participation.
How can I reach the TEK Anatolian High school ?
You can use 14R, 15R or Talimhane Minibüsleri (with yellow hat) from Üsküdar.
